Hi Gerlinde in Dallas, it's not as different as you might think. The olives are already brined. This just adds a touch of sweetness and a little citrusy aroma. It's a really nice subtle shift. The chillies also give it just enough of a kick in a different direction, where it becomes clear that these olives are just a little bit more special. Let me know how they turn out. Thanks for the compliments!
I hadn't thought to pair olives with orange, but your photos are making my mouth water. I will definitely give this a try!
