105 Festive Holiday Recipes (a giant visual list of Holiday Goodness!) 12/18/2012

Big Giant Holiday List

This week, rather than blog, I put my efforts into a long and thorough list of some of the best holiday recipes out there. This list should serve you whether you are bringing something to the party, or you're hosting it, yourself. This list should also provide plenty of options for New Year's Eve, as well!

The following recipes are mostly very low carb (a few have honey, maple syrup, etc. if you're VERY low carb, you can skip those, or substitute with a lower carb ingredient). Most are gluten free and many are also Paleo. It's a great list and should satisfy most all healthy holiday requirements!

Get ready to scroll, there are one hundred and one holiday recipes, below. To see the recipe ... click on the image.

Ok ... no need to hear more from me ...

... On with the recipes!

Pamela, I'm actually really sorry to hear that. If someone is following a low-carb plan, it shouldn't been seen as negative to look at delicious and enticing low-carb foods. I understand what it means to be triggered, but there are triggers everywhere, in the movie theater, on the TV, in homes, restaurants, etc. To censor a site about low-carb ON a low-carb site really sends the wrong message, in my opinion. They should, instead, work to understand the meaning behind the food and enjoy their new life style ... not hide from it. I thank you for your kind words and ... I hope you have a wonderful holiday! :)

I shared this link on the low carb group site I'm a member of and was asked to remove it because some complained the pictures made them want to cheat. You have great recipes and I cook from your site frequently. Hard to explain to someone that the recipe is actually low carb when all they can see is the beautiful glistening monkey bread picture LOL. Thanks for these recipes. Can't wait to cook more!

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, that Cornbread looks WONDERFUL! I have not tried it, but Karen, from Living Low Carb, One Day at a Time used it for stuffing, and I saw photos of that. So, I trust it to be a good recipe. I'm going to have to give it a shot, myself!

Great blog, DJ! Lots of recipes! And I like how you jazzed it all up so Christmassy! That paleo cornbread recipe looks interesting. Have you tried it?
